Growing Information
American Elderberry cuttings root easily in soil or water. This shrub thrives in USDA hardiness zones 3 through 9, making it a versatile choice for many regions. It prefers moderate watering and can grow well in both full sun and partial shade. The berries are edible when cooked, but raw berries, leaves, and stems are toxic if ingested. Incorporate these cuttings into edible gardens or native plant landscapes for a sustainable and wildlife-friendly addition.
