How it works
Airborne disease-causing fungi enter the plant and either poison and kill plant cells before absorbing food from them, or steal nutrients from living cells. Some fungi live in the soil and enter the roots, where they can block or kill the water-conducting cells, causing the plant to wilt.
As a topical spray, SNS 244 kills fungus through a biochemical interaction with the spores. Some components of SNS 244 are also absorbed by the plant, suppressing the fungal spores' life cycle and nurturing plant cells to increase the plant's ability to fight disease.
