Bloom is a flowering fertilizer for plants moving into flowering and fruiting: a wettable powder graded 4–0.5–0.5 that runs on top of Microbes in the Growganica system.
What it does. Bloom is the stage-specific feed that takes over from Veg once a plant starts to flower or set fruit. It combines soy protein hydrolysate, crustacean shell meal, boric acid, copper, iron, manganese and zinc sulfates, and 3.5% humic acid from leonardite. The pack also lists calcium, sulfur and micronutrients alongside the 4–0.5–0.5 grade.
How it fits the routine.
- Microbes first. Bloom is built to run on top of Microbes, Step 1 of the system. Add the powder to water close to use; the pack says to tank-mix with biological products less than four hours before application.
- Veg to Bloom. Move over as the plant enters flowering or fruiting. Follow the crop’s stage rather than a fixed calendar date.
- Incredible Bulk is separate. Bulk is the phosphorus-and-potassium booster you can layer on when your plan calls for it. It does not replace Bloom.
How to use it. Start at ¼ tablespoon per gallon of water, as a soil drench or in a hydroponic reservoir. The pack allows up to ½ tablespoon per gallon at peak flowering. Contains boron: use only on crops recommended on the label. The formula includes crustacean shell meal, so it is not vegan.
