FlexiGerm is a reusable silicone seed germination tray designed to provide a cleaner, more organized environment for sprouting seeds.
Made from thermally insulating EU food-grade silicone, FlexiGerm features six large germination pods designed for standard 2.25-inch (5.7 cm) cotton pads. Integrated airflow channels and a recessed 1.5 cm lid help retain warmth and moisture while allowing passive airflow around the seeds.
Simply moisten the cotton pads, place the seeds into the individual pods, secure the magnetic lid, and position the tray in a suitably warm location. FlexiGerm can also be used with an external thermostatically controlled heat mat when additional warmth is required.
The smooth, non-porous silicone construction is durable, dishwasher safe, and easy to clean between germination cycles. It is compatible with commonly used seed-starting solutions, including humic acid, fulvic acid, gibberellic acid, and appropriately diluted hydrogen peroxide, when used according to the relevant product instructions.
Magnets in two corners help keep the lid securely positioned while allowing easy access for moisture checks and seed monitoring. The reusable design also provides an alternative to disposable plastic bags and loose paper towel methods.
