I have to say the product itself is great, however, the unit sent to me appeared to be a re-packaged used unit. The non-stick crucible was dirty and had a significant amount of residue stuck to it from being used, which required additional cleaning before use. The unit was also not packaged in any manufacturers packaging, and included no operating or calibration instructions, which required more research in order to obtain this information. Based on my consumer research, it appears I was charged for, and did pay for a new appliance. However, the appliance received was not new, but a used repackaged unit. I love the product, it is easy to use, just follow instructions once you get them. They are also available at ExtractCraft.com
