Propagation guidance
Check the Hormex plant list to confirm whether #8 matches the cuttings you plan to propagate. Choosing the right concentration matters more than simply choosing the strongest powder.
Use clean shears to take a fresh cutting just below a node, then remove the lower leaves. Moisten the base with clean water, dip it in powder and tap off excess. Plant the treated cutting in a suitable rooting medium, such as rockwool, coco coir, peat moss or soil, selected for your plant and setup.
Keep the rooting medium lightly moist, not waterlogged, with growing conditions suited to the variety. Rooting time varies with the plant, cutting maturity and propagation environment.
