The TrolMaster WCS-3 is a 3-prong Volumetric Water Content (VWC) sensor designed for real-time measurement of substrate moisture percentage in coir, rockwool, and soil. It is intended for substrate-driven irrigation and crop steering, allowing Aqua-X and Hydro-X Pro systems to use actual root-zone moisture data rather than relying solely on fixed irrigation timers. The included splitter cable set supports daisy-chaining multiple sensors, while a built-in tap/motion-activated LCD provides a quick local VWC reading.

Key Advantage: The WCS-3 focuses specifically on root-zone moisture measurement, providing the VWC data needed for dry-back management and substrate-driven irrigation. Because it can scale to 50 sensors on Aqua-X Pro or Hydro-X Pro, it is well suited to monitoring moisture variation across multiple containers, rows, tables or irrigation zones.
