Its built-in photocell detects the lighting state, allowing Hydro-X to automatically manage CO2 enrichment during the light cycle. The package includes a 16-ft RJ12 cable and T-splitter for plug-and-play installation.

• SKU: MBS-S8
• Compatible Controller: TrolMaster Hydro-X
• Connection Interface: RJ12, plug-and-play
• CO2 Monitoring: Continuous ambient CO2 PPM measurement
• Output Voltage: 0–11.5V
• Maximum Current Draw: 0.2A
• Built-In Photocell: Yes — detects day/night lighting state
• Control Integration: Sends CO2 readings to Hydro-X for automated enrichment control
• CO2 Device Station: Requires DSC-1 for automated switching of CO2 generators or solenoid valves
• Standalone Operation: No — requires Hydro-X controller
• Cable Included: 16-ft RJ12 cable
• Splitter Included: RJ12 T-splitter
• Operating Temperature: 32–122°F (0–50°C)
• Operating Humidity: ≤90% RH, non-condensing
• Package Dimensions: 160 × 86 × 86 mm
• Gross Weight: 0.37 kg
• Warranty: 3 years
• Mounting Guidance: Canopy level in representative airflow; keep away from CO2 outlets, exhaust ports, irrigation spray and condensation
• Compatibility Note: Designed for Hydro-X; Hydro-X Pro uses the MBS-PRO 4-in-1 sensor instead

Key Advantage: The MBS-S8 provides closed-loop CO2 monitoring for Hydro-X, allowing CO2 equipment to respond to actual measured PPM rather than relying solely on a fixed timer. Its built-in photocell also allows the system to suppress CO2 enrichment during the dark cycle automatically.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0254/3914/1924/files/co2-sensor-for-hydro-x-with-cable-set-mbs-s8.webp?v=1791317622
