Flaming Silver Pieris is a slow-growing evergreen shrub with an upright spreading habit and glossy dark green foliage with a silvery boarder that emerges a fiery red. Clusters of drooping clear white bell-flowers bloom in spring as the new foliage emerges . Best bloom in part sun with slightly acidic and moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: High Maintenance. Water regularly. Remove spent flowers immediately. Lace bug infections can be a serious problem. Watch for scale, mites, and nematodes. Dieback and leaf spots are occasional problems.
