Electric Love Weigela is a miniature early-blooming deciduous shrub with a mounded habit and dense bronze-burgundy foliage. A heavy profusion of true red funnel-shaped flowers bloom from late spring into summer, and can be encouraged to rebloom if lightly trimmed after the first blooms finished. Best flowering and color with full sun a nd rich, moist well-drained soils. Can tolerate some light shade.
